I know it sucks and I love Jaiku, especially for the fact that I met so many cool people here and that it started Linux Outlaws. Still, I have decided that I need to unify to one microblog account to stay sane. Identi.ca is my choice because it's based on open source, it's open and federated and has a working Twitter-bridge solution. On top of that, Jaiku has been increasingly pissing me off. Since they were bought by Google, they have been treating their users like shit (their information policy has been a joke) and the service has been getting more and more unreliable. Believe me, I have tried to love it again, but I just don't believe in it's future. The open sourcing came about a year to late and I think Google and the original founders are not interested in the service anymore.
I enjoy the community and all the people I have met and talked to on here and I hope many you will follow me on identi.ca (many are already), but please understand that I don't want to waste my limited free time being on four services at once. So I am cutting down in an effort to regain time for the important things. If Jaiku had a working way to push updates in real-time to it, I would at least do that, but as it stands, the service is dead to me.
Sorry, guys & gals. :(

Almost a year ago, 160 Pounds was about 200 Euros. And no, I don't think it's expensive, their screens are excellent. I have significant experience with TFTs from work and Dell's are among the best (at least from the stuff that is available to me here).
@suraj: Could it be that your exchange rate makes it appear expensive? I have no clue where you are located. ;)
